Independent Practice · Senior AI Advisory, Faculty & Founder
One senior practice across enterprise AI strategy, executive education and applied AI.
A multi-client senior practice combining Fractional Chief AI Officer engagements (Clarity Diagnostic), executive education at the Irish Management Institute (Programme Director & Faculty), and Future Academy, the school built to prove that AI capability comes from building, not watching.
Context
After Workday, the question was where 20 years of enterprise transformation, analytics and AI governance experience lands hardest. The answer is a single practice with three modes: advisory for leadership teams operationalising AI, faculty for executives learning to lead hybrid workforces, and Future Academy for the next generation. One practice, multiple engagements, one operating standard.
Challenge
Run a senior advisory and faculty practice with the discipline of a corporate function, governance, IP, repeatable methods, while staying close enough to the work to ship real digital workers, not just decks.
Approach
- 01Fractional Chief AI Officer at Clarity Diagnostic, AI operating models, prioritised use cases, deployed digital workers and lightweight governance aligned to the EU AI Act across multi-sector SMB engagements.
- 02Programme Director & Faculty at the Irish Management Institute, designed and lead 'Leading the Human-AI Workforce', IMI's flagship two-day executive programme on the HIT 2.0 model.
- 03Founder of Future Academy, applied AI education for Transition Year students, SMBs and enterprise teams, launched at Microsoft Ireland, scaling nationally with Turnua.
- 04Lead Architect on a confidential subsea contractor's Mission Control build, a 5-week Phase 1 replacing fragmented tools with a Lovable + Claude + MCP operating layer.
- 05One operating standard across every engagement: governance from day one, written method, measurable outcomes, no bespoke heroics.
In retrospect
"Independent practice only works if it runs with more discipline than a corporate function, not less. The umbrella is the discipline."
